Tear Cap Workshops

It's harder than it looks!  This intricate knotted tree made from reed is a powerful Celtic symbol, reflecting strength, resiliency and adaptability.  The tree symbolizes longevity and steadfastness, while the reed reflects flexibiity and complexity.  In this class taught by professional basket maker Ida Atkinson, you will learn how to weave this beautiful decoration that reminds us with can be many things at once.  Students will have opportunity to make more than one tree.
